Hearing Voices Episode 1 of Juvenile Justice starts with a blood-soaked kid named Seong-U walking through the streets. It’s snowing, the music is ominously festive and he shows up at the police station, clearly rattled. As he approaches Detective Ko, he admits to killing someone, and shows off a bloodied axe to prove as much. As we soon come to learn, Seong-U actually killed an 8 year old girl and mutilated another boy, sending the region into uproar....

There are several new dramas starting this week too, including Woori The Virgin, XX+XY and Rose Mansion which will certainly help to bolster out a rather sparse mid-week roster of shows. The Sins Of A Father King Maker: The Change Of Destiny returns this week and after a solid opening episode, settles into its new Saturday/Sunday slot with a look at the political power struggle to come. With both Bong-Ryeol and Chun-Joong caught in the middle of this minefield, King Maker continues to deliver a strong period drama set-up and it’ll be interesting to see if this one can reach the heights of the popular Crowned Clown in the coming weeks....

Berlin’s Wedding With the power out and the surgery resting precariously on a knife-edge, episode 2 of Season 4 of La Casa De Papel begins with Tokyo making her choice and deciding to go ahead with the operation. She manages to take out the bullet and the chunk of lung but without instruction from the doctors on the video, Tokyo and the others remain in the dark around whether they’ve actually saved or killed Nairobi by doing this....

Wishful Thinking Episode 7 of Money Heist Season 5 begins with soldiers rushing into Tamayo’s apartment, charging up the stairs and ready to take the Professor and Sierra out. With little Victoria crying, the pair are sure to be caught soon. Tamayo orders a 2km perimeter around his apartment and demands the soldiers stay vigilant. He’s even called in the army to get involved too. During all this commotion, the Professor and Sierra work together and in the few seconds that they’ve been working on the plan, Victoria stops crying and falls soundly asleep....

American Eid The Review American Eid is the first chapter in Disney’s Launchpad series, centering on the celebration of Eid through the eyes of a girl called Ameena. She, along with sister Zainab, have recently moved to America and struggle to fit in. In fact, Zainab has decided to keep her heritage a secret, even calling herself Z now. Ameena however is a bit more optimistic. With Eid on the horizon, Ameena’s ability to collect up signatures is a nice touch and shows the power of togetherness and embracing different cultures nicely....

With a myriad of narrative driven choice games following the success of Heavy Rain, its refreshing to see such a unique take on the concept with Life Is Strange. This 5 episode adventure follows the story of Max Caulfield and her troubled friend Chloe as they investigate the disappearance of a fellow student at their school. The hand drawn art style and interesting reversing time mechanics help to elevate Life Is Strange above others in this genre with a well paced, emotional story at its heart....

I Don’t Know Episode 1 of Little Voice begins with a stray piece of paper floating down to the ground lazily, reading the words “I Don’t know.” Snatching it up, Bess uses this as a basis of writing song lyrics which follow her through the day. Midway through practicing, Bess’ new neighbour Ethan arrives and complements her singing after asking for an extension lead. Together, they sit and talk about her singing, in particular a moment that saw her get heckled from the crowd in the past and something that’s been hanging over her ever since....

Kim Go-eun, Nam Ji-Hyun and Park Ji-Hu will play the roles of 3 poor sisters whose lives are altered after they get involved in a case of a missing amount of 70 billion won. Go-eun will play the role of the eldest sister who believes money is powerful and wishes for an ordinary life without the stress of being poor. Ji-Hyun will play the middle sister who is an ambitious reporter....

Deep Cover Episode 4 of Locke and Key Season 3 starts with Nina and Kinsey completely oblivious that Bode is different. The only person who seems to realize something is up is Gideon, who grins under the light of the dancing flames and utters that “another is here.” Anyway, Bode shows up at school, throwing shade at Josh and even pinning a kid up against the window, telling him he’ll rip his entrails out....

Chapter 15 Xiao’En, Qiutian and Susan begin episode 15 of Lost Romance with girl talk ahead of the wedding, but they scatter when Qingfeng stops in to see the bride. Xiao’En makes a wish for Qingfeng to get the ending he desires. He wishes her well with her happy ending, noting that he’s off to a new story too. Qingfeng then visits a nervous Aoran, teasing that he got to see the bride first....

The Finale The finale to Love Alarm begins with Sun-Oh showing up at Jojo’s work, only to find it closed. As it turns out, our protagonist appears before Hye-Yeong in the school courtyard. It’s here she reveals the truth about Love Alarm, that she had a shield up and it’s her fault their relationship failed. He reassures her, and the two step closer together, prompting her to smile as he rings her alarm....

The Movies After seeing Seon-A (Eun-O) with Gyeong-Gu on the beach, episode 3 of Lovestruck In The City begins with Jae-Won walking with her and trying in vain to hold her hand. On the way, Seon-A tells him that she’s going to the cinema with Gyeong-Gu to watch a Nolan movie. Jae-Won is clearly not happy and tries his best not to feel jealous. That evening though, Seon-A returns and begins playing the guitar....

All That You Gather Episode 10 of Made in Abyss Season 2 begins with Nanachi and Belaf glaring out into the distance as sounds of rumble and destruction lay in their wake. Belaf informs Nanachi that Faputa has entered the village (Iruburu) and is causing the ruckus. This causes Nanachi to recall memories concerning the Cradle of Desire and Faputa’s birth. Belaf tells Nanachi that he allowed Nanachi to peer into his memories through some mystical smells he had created....
