Like & Subscribe? Airplane Mode is a very safe, very predictable film that does little to deviate from the tried and tested. It’s a 90 minute flick that takes the concept of digitalisation and healthy online habits and blends it into a rom-com set-up with a group of cookie cutter characters. Across its run-time, the film does get better toward the end, with an injection of likability for our main protagonist Ana, but beyond that there isn’t a whole lot else here worth getting excited about....

Colonel Carrera Episode 2 of Altered Carbon begins with Colonel Carrera marching purposefully up to Axley’s apartment and seeing the devastation firsthand. Talking to the detective on site, he learns about the custom sleeve and gives them his theory, proceeding to slaughter the officers in cold blood. Meanwhile, Poe does a full scan analysis of Kovacs’ new sleeve, trying to suss out what other tricks it may have. Poe suggests finding the bounty hunter that shot him in the back and as he starts doing the scan, he glitches, replacing the monitors with pictures of Lizzie....

The Battle Following Segeste’s bombshell reveal, episode 6 of Barbarians begins the finale with Ari eventually admitting that the betrayal is true. He speaks so plainly that Varus eventually laughs and tells Segeste that he’s the liar and traitor. In the wake of this, Varus asks Ari to forgive him for doubting his true loyalty to the empire. Outside , Ari walks past the cages and notices Folkwin trapped inside. The two talk without facing one another, eventually ending with Folkwin heading up to Talio and commanding him to start moving his men....
