To The Stars Episode 1 of Night Sky begins in the past, with Franklin and Irene first meeting in a bar. After a “lucky shot” from the pool table, Franklin finds an excuse to strike up a conversation with Irene. And that, as they say, is that. Fast forward to the present, 50 years or so forward, and both Irene and Franklin are happily married and living together. Irene is in a wheelchair though, and Franklin wheels her out so they can go and see the stars....

Good Father With no Vic this week, episode 2 of Nos4a2 Season 2 takes a slightly different approach by letting Charlie Manx take centre stage. With a split focus between the past and present, the episode does well to add some more humanity for our antagonist while letting Zachary Quinto shine in his role. The Past With a series of flashbacks we see Manx’s past, including his love with partner Cassie blossom over time....

Not Me Episode 14 Not Me is a Thai action drama television series with an intriguing and engaging plot. The story here revolves around a guy called White, who disguises himself as his twin Black in order to discover who betrayed him and put him in a coma. The trouble is, Black has a number of enemies, which makes it hard to figure out who’s the real culprit. Will White find out the truth about what happened to his twin brother?...

Endings and Beginnings Episode 15 of Now, We Are Breaking Up starts with Taek-soo having no idea how to move on from his marriage, especially since he doesn’t want Jung-ja to only remember the bad things between them. Chi-sook confronts CEO Hwang about buttering Do-hoon up for her. Frustrated, CEO Hwang denies that he would ever waste company resources on undeserving individuals when he has employees to look after. CEO Hwang will keep working with Do-hoon – whose talent he appreciates – even if Chi-sook breaks up with him....

4D Chess Episode 5 of Obi-Wan Kenobi begins with a flashback to a training session between Anakin and Obi-Wan. Sprinkled throughout the episode, these two trade lightsaber blows and go all out for victory. Fast forward to the present and Reva is promoted to Grand Inquisitor for her “good work” in the last episode of losing Kenobi but playing 4D chess and planting a tracker on Lola. Now, Obi-Wan and the others are heading for Jabiim, where they touch down and begin to make plans to evacuate....

Ji-yul laughs at Ja-young’s innocent attempts. She asks the vet if she can adopt the dog and after some pestering, he finally agrees. She sets up a dog house for her new pet and calls him Nurungji. She recalls how a young Ji-yul had gifted her a puppy back when he was in town the last time. Ja-young had called the dog Gurumi back then. Meanwhile, Ji-yul is chatting up with Yeong-suk and he seems to be growing a lot more interested in Ja-young....

Yeong-Ok and Jeong-Jun Our predictions for Our Blues changing its perspective ring true in episode 4, as we shift away from Eun-Hui and Han-Su to Yeong-Ok and Jeong-Jun. However, we actually start the episode with Seon-A, who is clearly depressed and struggling. Her husband is not happy that the house isn’t clean and points out the mess in the laundry room. She shrugs it off, claiming she’ll take care of everything....

Paint with Love Episode 10 Paint with Love is a lovely little Thai drama, blending romance and comedy together beautifully. The story here follows an abstract painter called Phab who’s hired by the owner of a media agency called Maze. He’s recruited to do some painting for a celebrity’s wedding. After a disastrous accident, Phab starts working for Maze to pay off his debts. What starts an awkward, not-quite-hate relationship between the pair soon grows into so much more....

He’s at least grateful for her returning his ring but it seems this door has closed – but literally and figuratively – on this stage of Ingrid’s romance....

Meerkat Manor was a really engaging and interesting docu-series, delivering educational content in a fun and accessible way. It also offered an eye-opening examination of a group of animals largely unexplored up until that time....

An Incredibly Creative Tycoon Game At the end of the 90’s, Frontier released one of the best theme park titles of all time in Rollercoaster Tycoon, a game that felt like a natural successor to what Bullfrog had produced in 1994’s Theme Park. With many titles since Rollercoaster Tycoon failing to strike the right balance between creativity and theme park management, Frontier’s newest addition to the sim line-up is probably as close to a natural step forward for this genre of games as we’re likely to get....

Clandestine Episode 11 of Private Lives starts with Bok-Gi tentatively walking up to Jae-Wook’s retreat. Only, his dog starts barking which immediately draws his attention, realizing Bok-Gi is outside. Instead of heading in though, she scrawls the words “Beware Of Dog” in red lipstick over his gates and walks back to the car. While she drives off, phoning Min-Kyu to ask about the murder there years back, Jae-Wook heads outside and sees this, immediately becoming paranoid and checking in the basement to make sure his funds are still intact – which they are....

Jeong-Hwan’s Story Episode 3 of Private Lives begins with a similar introduction to that of the first episode. Only, this time we see things from Jeong-Hwan’s perspective. He arrives at the wedding hall but finds himself confronted by a whole group of thugs. Desperate to get away, he manages to evade the guards and make it into his car, racing away from the wedding hall. Back at the wedding, Joo-Eun is a mess....
