Rayburn is skeptical, seeing as Conrad had a history of depression and anxiety. Still, she agrees to get him a warrant. Michelle meets Natalie, who brings up the text Michelle sent her the other night about Conrad’s death. Michelle says she doesn’t know why she said that. She changes the subject, and Natalie drops it. A flashback shows Michelle on a school trip in 2012. She talks to her friend Susie about how she fooled around with Conrad....

It was tough trying to decide if this is the worst film I’ve watched this year but once the credits roll on this 120 minute fantasy/action title, I had my answer. Yes. The Great Wall is one of the worst film I’ve seen so far in 2017. The film picks up right out the gate with William (Matt Damon) and Tavor (Pedro Pascal) being chased on horseback through the Chinese wilderness who eventually end up at The Great Wall where a vast, multi-coloured human army are tasked with battling the Tai’tol – deadly unstoppable dog-like monsters that attack the wall every sixty years in their tens of thousands....

While it won’t be for everyone, given its slow burn tension and aesthetically impressive style, it remains one of the best dystopian worlds shown on TV. Returning for its fifth episode, The Handmaid’s Tale bursts back into life, delivering one of its strongest episodes and boasting a natural blend between the Canada and Gilead stories that feel like they’re starting to bleed into one now, much to the benefit of the show....

Together Episode 6 of The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 starts with June and Luke captured. Luke is rattled while June remains composed, trying to find out exactly who these people are. Wherever they’re being detained, it seems to be within No Man’s Land. Meanwhile, Serena’s ultrasound goes ahead… but she’s not taken to the hospital. The Wheeler’s have sorted out so she won’t be leaving the house. She’s also matched up with this Doctor, Alan, reinforcing that Gilead intend to swallow her back into the system....

Suzuki’s Sacrifice Episode 2 of The Journalist begins with Matsuda at hospital, worried about her older brother Kohei. Last episode we saw him convulsing and fitting wildly on the bed. As she heads in, Matsuda calls softly to try and wake him up. Meanwhile, Murakami is briefed on his new job. He’s to filter out massive amounts of information and weed out the people who could be obstacles and problems to the Eishin Academy scandal....

We’re Celebrating Sex Episode 4 of The Kardashians Season 1 starts with the family getting to Santa Barbara for Kourtney and Travis’ proposal. Kim, Kris and Corey are driving together while Kylie and Kendall are driving in a different car. Kris mentions that family and friends of Kourtney were here to celebrate sex because Travis was proposing to Kourtney on the anniversary of the day when they first hooked up....

2.5 Hours Of Pain The Last Days of American Crime is the perfect example of how not to make a heist movie. Lethargic, over-long and visually bland, this Netflix movie is the equivalent of looking forward to a roast dinner and being served under-cooked chicken and raw potatoes – if you consume it, you’re going to get ill. That illness comes in the form of boredom and it’s something American Crime should not have in such abundance given its intriguing premise....

War Is Coming Episode 9 of The Last Kingdom Season 5 starts in York with Uhtred and the others preparing to leave by sunrise. With Edward’s men still barring the gates, Eadgifu and Aelswith confront Edward and urge him to follow Uhtred. Aelswith realizes that he’s fearful of trying to live up to Alfred’s memory, but she urges her son to push through that, believing he’s a good and true man....

Las Vegas Following Midge’s successful set in the main room, her warm-up act in episode 4 of Marvelous Mrs Maisel is a big success, as everyone hangs on her every word. After the show, she phones home but given it’s 1am, doesn’t get a chance to speak to Ethan. Instead, she heads out and watches drag racing before Susie gets involved. Abe is woken up at 5am and forced to move his car by Moishe, narrowly avoiding the milkman while realizing his situation is less than ideal....

The Apollo Marvelous Mrs Maisel bows out Season 3 with a 75 minute season finale, beginning with Joel and Midge talking about their life together in the diner; a throwback to a time in the past. We then cut forward to present day in a slick, smooth transition as Joel and Midge talk about arrangements with the kids. Joel suggests putting Ethan in a school in Queens but Midge doesn’t take kindly to this idea....
