This 6 episode series has been quite the rollercoaster ride over the weeks and given its popularity with Disney, you may be wondering if this one has been renewed or cancelled.
What is Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 1 about?

You can find those HERE!
Has Obi-Wan Kenobi been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, Disney+ has not renewed Obi-Wan Kenobi for season 2. Given the incredible popularity of this one over the weeks, it’ll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up. In fact, Disney released a statement regarding Obi-Wan on social media: “Thank you to the best fans in the galaxy for making @ObiWanKenobi the most-watched #DisneyPlus Original series premiere globally to date, based on hours streamed in an opening weekend.” It would seem people are digging the series, harking back to a different era away from the subjective quality of the New Trilogy. However, it’ll be interesting to see what the drop-off rate for this show actually is, given the recent negativity surrounding aspects of this show’s production. Weighing all of this up, there’s a pretty good amount of evidence supporting Obi-Wan Kenobi to be renewed for season 2. With that in mind, we predict that Obi-Wan Kenobi will be renewed. In recent news, alleged reputable sources over at MakingStarWars claim that the success of Obi-Wan’s first three episodes has pushed Disney into producing a follow-up season. This hasn’t been confirmed yet though but we’ll be sure to update this section with more details as they become available.
What we know about season 2 so far:
Barely anything is known about season 2 at this point, given Disney+ have not green-lit a sequel. However, there is always the possibility that the actors return for a follow-up or even a spin-off. At the end of the day, Star Wars has a huge expansive library of stories (many of which in a huge library of fiction that Disney has retconned) For now though, we’re under the impression that there will be a season 2 but we will aim to update this page when more information becomes available.
